Frequently Asked Questions Unfortunately not, we are always getting new styles in so the brochure would always be out of date. The best thing to do is bookmark our webpage or add your email address to receive our newsletter . Do you have a shop or fitting area? No, this helps us keep the price of the dress down which means we can then pass the saving on to you! What sizes are your gowns available in? Dependant on style we do all styles in UK size 8 to 14 with some styles in a UK size 6 through to a UK size 20. If you are after a style in a size we do not do, then we can also do the dress as a made to measure for you (please see our made to measure section for prices and details on how to measure) Can I have a dress made in a colour that you don't stock? Usually, we can, though the dress would be classed as custom made (made to measure). If you want to email us before ordering with your requirements we will then be able to ascertain if this can be done. How do I know what size to order? For a fixed size dress you choose the UK size chart measurement from the drop down list on the particular style's webpage. If you want to check as to what your size chart measurement is please view our size chart page for details .If you are after a custom made dress you can select your personal measurements when you are selecting the dress. After you have ordered, we confirm these details with you to make sure that everything is correct. What payment types do you accept? We accept payment by credit/debit card via our secure gateway, or with Paypal, by cheque or postal order. Can I order over the phone? Yes, you can. Please call us on 0208 1235478 between 11am and 6pm where we can take your call or leave a message and we can call you back. What is the postage cost to send the dress? For all deliveries in the UK the postage cost is £10 and the dress will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery. For Europe and Rest of the World, the price is dependent upon your location and this can be calculated for you at checkout - postage would be by Royal Mail International Signed For. How will the dress be posted and how long will it take to receive it? The dress will be tissue paper wrapped and packaged (please note we do not currently send dresses in boxes as this increases the weight and the postage costs would significantly increase). We will endeavour to post out your dress within one working day from receipt of your order and cleared payment. For UK this means that you should receive the dress within 24-48 hours from placing your order. For Europe and Rest of the World this can be between 4-15 working days depending on your location (please note that Royal Mail International Signed For is not a guaranteed delivery time service). What do I do upon receipt of the dress? We recommend that you hang the dress up for 24 hours after you have tried it on to see if it fits and you are happy with it, so that any creases may drop out. If any creases remain after this, they may be ironed out using an iron on its COOLEST setting and not using the steamer (so as to avoid watermarking). For some dresses that contain sequins or beading, you may find that some beading appears loose - this is not a defect , they are sewn this way in order that when the dress is worn and the dress gets tighter the sequins do not pop off - if needed they can be pulled back through easily. I have received my dress and it doesn't fit. If you are happy with the style we are happy to do an exchange for you for another size - please contact us before returning the dress in order that we may check availability or suitability (if the alternative size is not suitable, for example a different body shape to the fixed size standard we would be happy to make the dress as a custom made for an additional fee. Can I cancel my order or return my gown? Yes, but we will need to be notified of a return within 24 hours of receipt and the dress returned promptly, unworn (except for trying on), tagged and free from smoke/perfume scents/pet hair etc. For all returns (exchanges and refunds) please include your name and order number on the outside of the packaging - all returns without this will not be accepted and returned to you. We strongly suggest that you return using Special delivery so that you are insured against damage or loss by the postal service (please note: damage liability is only effective for damage caused during postal transit) Please note we are unable to accept returns/refunds on made to measure/custom made dresses for any reason unless we have made to dress grossly different from the details supplied to us by you. Please see our terms and conditions for full details. After I have returned a dress or cancelled an order, how long will it be before I receive my refund? After we have received the return and checked the dress for any wear and tear we will authorise the refund by the means of payment that you made so card payments will be refunded straightaway but may take 2-3 working days to appear on your statement; cheque refunds will be sent out by 1 st class mail the next working day How do I clean my gown after I have worn it? We recommend dry cleaning to protect the material and then hang the dress in a dress bag to prevent yellowing so that it is fresh for the next time you wish to wear it. |
